Bokashi is a modern method of processing food waste by fermenting all types of food scraps (including meat and dairy) in an airtight bucket, using a bacterial starter. It is a perfect way of processing daily food waste for people living in apartments or these who do not have a compost bin. Bokashi also produces highly nutritious soil amendment, better than traditional compost!
In this workshop you could learn how to ferment food scraps successfully and will see how to make the Bokashi fermentation starter (and take a sample home to start you on the Bokashi journey!).
